Help your Anxious dog finally feel calm, settled and safe — even in the situations they usually really struggle with

If your dog:
- can’t fully relax or settle
- always seems alert or “on”
- struggles when you leave the house
- gets overwhelmed on walks or around other dogs
- and you can feel that something isn’t fully settling for them — no matter what you try.
This isn’t about training harder.
Their system is stuck in a heightened state — and until that settles, things don’t fully change
You’re probably noticing it more and more — the pacing, the restlessness, how quickly they go from calm to overwhelmed.
And it’s starting to affect your day-to-day more than you expected.
Want to hear a tough truth?
Most anxiety in dogs isn’t a training issue.
It’s a nervous system issue.
Your dog is stuck in a heightened, alert state — and until that settles, the patterns you’re seeing won’t fully shift.
Why things haven’t fully improved (until now)
Most approaches focus on managing what you’re seeing — the reactions, the restlessness, the behaviour.
But if your dog’s system is still in a constant state of stress or alert…
Those patterns don’t fully change.
This is why things can improve for a while — but then come back again.
Introducing...
The Calm Dog Support Session

This is what we focus on in a Calm Dog Support Session.
Instead of trying to manage the symptoms…
we work on what’s driving them underneath.
During the session I:
• tune into your dog’s emotional and nervous system state
• identify what’s keeping them stuck in that heightened response
• work to settle and regulate their system
• shift the underlying tension they’re holding
This is where real change begins.

What happens in a Calm Dog Support Session?
We start with a short chat so I can understand exactly what’s been going on.
From there, I connect in with your dog and begin the session.
This is where I focus on:
• calming that constant “on edge” feeling
• helping their system come out of stress mode
• bringing them back into a more settled, relaxed state
Afterwards, I’ll talk you through:
• what came up
• what may be contributing to how they’re feeling
• simple, practical ways you can support them moving forward
Nothing overwhelming — just clear guidance you can actually use.
What a Calm Dog Support Session helps with
This session is especially helpful for dogs who:
• struggle to be left alone or settle when you leave
• are highly alert, reactive or easily overwhelmed
• can’t fully relax, even at home
• pace, whine or seem constantly “on”
• have become more unsettled after change (moving house, new baby, routine shifts etc.)
When your dog’s system settles, everything else becomes easier.
Results
After a session, owners often notice things like:
• their dog settles quicker after they leave the house
• less pacing, whining or restlessness
• calmer reactions on walks or around triggers
• more ability to switch off during the day
• a softer, more relaxed overall energy
In many cases, the shift begins within the first few days.
You might be asking yourself - Why this works when other things haven’t?
• training focuses on behaviour
• this focuses on state
• behaviour changes when state changes
“He’s so much more settled and content now”

"She became calmer, more comfortable & easier to understand
Ciara supported my foster dog Lolly through a distance session while she was transitioning into our home.
Lolly was visibly more relaxed during and after the session, and it really helped me understand what she needed.
The aromatherapy blends Ciara created also made a noticeable difference — she became more comfortable in her body and more settled overall.
The session gave me real reassurance that she felt safe and supported.
We’ve since adopted her, and I truly believe this work helped her transition.
